Spare set of knives UPT-250S / UPT-250M

The main cutting tool of the machine for processing thin gauge UPT-250M and UPT-250S are two drum cutters, they have the ability to move/extend and form a block from a log for subsequent sawing into boards or beams. Radially, on each cutter there are four knives, which perform the function of rough removal and finishing of the side surface of the board or timber. The knives are made of high-strength steel and are designed for a long service life; they can withstand shock loads for a long time and plan any type of wood, including frozen wood. These knives are the main consumable tool that needs to be sharpened on time. To ensure that the machine does not remain idle during tool maintenance, we recommend purchasing a spare set of knives.
