UPS-550 Angle Disc Sawmill is a woodworking machine with numerical control, designed for longitudinal sawing of round timber into high-quality boards and beams with specified geometric dimensions. The undeniable advantages of angular sawing are the absence of a wave during sawing, radial cutting of a log, ideal geometry of the resulting product, no idle stroke during sawing, the most flexible choice of the log cutting pattern, high productivity, etc. The UPS-550 circular sawmill cuts in the forward and reverse directions (there are no idle strokes), in addition to the angular sawing mode, the sawmill can be reconfigured to the horizontal sawing mode (sawing into unedged boards). Thanks to the powerful frame design of the circular sawmill, reliable log clamps and precise saw blade positioning system, the ideal geometry of the material being cut is achieved. The UPS-550 is controlled using a remote control, which even an inexperienced operator can work effectively on. The remote control interface is equipped with all the necessary controls (joysticks, buttons) and monitoring (display, indicators), thanks to which maximum productivity, quality and a high percentage of good products are achieved. For ease of maintenance of saw blades, the angle saw is equipped with a special sharpening device (supplied in the basic package), which is installed directly on the horizontal and vertical motor. Thus, sharpening of saw blades is carried out directly on the machine carriage (without removing the discs), thereby significantly saving time on tool maintenance.
Along with many similar machines of this type, the design of the angular sawmill of our production has some differences, namely:

The powerful frame design of the machine ensures high accuracy of the geometry of lumber, the carriage is welded from a thick-walled profile 120 mm x 120 mm.
With the help of a special sharpening device, saw blades are sharpened directly on the sawmill itself, which significantly saves time on tool maintenance (supplied in the basic package).
The hinged covers of the angle sawmill provide optimal protection for workers from sawdust and at the same time provide free access to the internal structure of the machine.
All horizontal, vertical and longitudinal guides are cleaned by special brush holders, thereby preventing sawdust from sticking.
The combined log fixation system, consisting of side self-centering and end clamps, ensures reliable and fast fastening of both small and large diameter workpieces.
The lifting mechanism of the table allows you to change the residual size of the slab on the go
The laser designators are equipped with a heating system that allows you to work at temperatures below -25 C0, the laser eyepieces have protection from sawdust.
The machine is controlled by a convenient and informative control panel.
